Management Consulting & Digital Transformation • Lifelong Learner

¡Hola! I'm Luis Joann.

I bridge the gap between complex enterprise systems and the people who use them—leading with empathy, clarity, and a genuine passion for hard problems.

I'm naturally curious and can't sit still for long. I completed a Study Abroad Program at the Universidad de Salamanca 🇪🇸—one of the oldest universities in the world!—and my career has since taken me through internships and consulting roles across Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and my native Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. In July 2025, I graduated with an Executive MBA from the Universitat de Barcelona.

I specialize in Digital Transformation—specifically in Change Management. And after more than 8 years of complex implementations, I've learned one thing for certain: the most powerful software in the world means nothing if the people using it feel lost. That's where I come in—managing the program, genuinely listening to what teams are worried about, and turning high-stress migrations into processes that actually work.

Consulting Philosophy

01. Empathetic Leadership

I listen first. My superpower is hearing the unspoken frustrations of stakeholders and addressing their real fears about systemic change, ensuring they feel supported, not overwhelmed.

02. Strategic Foresight

I view program management like hiking: you have to anticipate the terrain. I identify adoption roadblocks before they happen to guarantee a safe and seamless go-live.

03. Agile Adaptability

I am constantly seeking to be challenged. Whether executing deep architectural design work or commanding a stakeholder summit, I pivot to wherever the project needs momentum.

Off the Trail & Out of Office

I am driven by curiosity. When I'm not architecting change management programs, I am likely out exploring, recharging, and looking for the next great challenge.

The Long Trek Always looking for the next hike. I've completed the Camino de Santiago (St. James Way) twice - an experience that teaches you a lot about resilience and finding your own pace.
🍵
Coffee and Matcha Former barista in Rincón, PR. These days I enjoy a well-made cold brew, a strawberry matcha, or just sitting somewhere nice with a good drink and watching the world go by.

I'm a Merman I'm Caribbean — water has always been part of who I am. Rivers, waterfalls, beaches, natural hot springs... and if there's a cave nearby, I'm going in.
